Top Moments for So Very Kerry

For the past few years, I've posted my 10 Top Moments of the Year. This year, I included my layoff from Sendoso since it helped launch my freelance business.

While sitting in a coffeeshop reflecting on my year as a freelancer, I thought I should spend some mental energy compiling my top moments with So Very Kerry. I started my list and quickly came up with 14 great moments! I spared myself the exercise of narrowing it down because it was a great year and I wanted to celebrate every moment.

  1. I had the pleasure of recently joining a meeting where the meeting started with applause since the group was excited I was going to fix their Asana.

  2. I did a project with Rent the Runway, one of my absolute favorite brands.

  3. I reconnected with my love for the hospitality industry at inKind.

  4. I secured my first retainer after completing the meat of a project.

  5. I spoke at Marquis Murray’s amazing Asana conference.

  6. I learned a little bit more about Wrike when working on a Wrike to Asanatransition. I love learning new tools!

  7. Mergers & acquisitions work came back into my life, one of my absolute favorite areas for Project Management work.

  8. Confluence also reentered my life after years a way, and it was great to see how the tool has evolved.

  9. I asked for feedback from clients and I got great feedback! Carrie Moore shared that I should leverage video more and now, I am fully set up on Loom so I can do just that.

  10. I learned how companies use Asana differently, and had some amazing thought partners really push me to go deeper with what the tool can do.

  11. Working with Matt Tumbleson allowed me to stretch my wings in work around operationalizing start-ups, something I am open I can fly with in 2024.

  12. In general, I learned so many tools, from Ellen starting me on Toggl to going deeper with Calendly, Typeform, Asana, Slack, Microsoft, Squarespace and so many more.

  13. From my first conversation with Intrepid Digital to working with WHM Creative, I have such a deeper understanding of how agencies operate and look forward to adding more agencies to my roster in the future

  14. After a short stint at Sendoso, my former colleagues came through with opportunities to work together again!

  15. Not to be cheesy, but the best part was how many people I added to my network, coming in at over 250. My favorite thing about this way of work is how many people I get to meet and work with.

I've loved every minute of it.
