The Burger Brigade Travels!

The Burger Brigade took 2 great trips this year, both of which deserve a spot on the Top 10 list. February brought our 2nd annual pilgrimage to Stowe for skiing, puzzles and an amazing Airbnb hot tub. Sung and I had been shut in avoiding Omicron for 6 weeks prior to our trip so we were ready to see other people’s faces. Although not planned, our trip coincided with the winter Olympics, which meant our evenings were full of snowboarding and bobsledding events on the TV while we worked tirelessly to put the right piece on the puzzle board. Reuniting with the slopes was great having only been once before and confirmed by the enjoyment of the sport.

For our fall trip, we spent 11 days exploring 3 Texas cities, dining at 30 restaurants and doing 16 workouts to balance out the brisket and migas intake. We worked during the day and food crawled at night. We stayed in 2 modern luscious Airbnbs and 1 wild 90s-themed Airbnb. And we did the best to live like locals, trying cool gyms, visiting great coffee shops and attempting to become regulars at Amy’s ice cream.

The flexibility the Brigade has to work from anywhere is a true privilege, one we exercised greatly in Texas. Stay tuned for where the Brigade will work from next!
